Some more inspiration from my grandmothers garden 

New semester new inspiration

This semester I find inspiration from my grandmothers garden and how I used to chase and catch fire flys or lighting bugs. I want to make little bugs that light up around the neck? I need to make more sketches.

More locket

My locket it coming along, I'm not confident in the sanding it became to thing and I'm scared to sand it any more Incase more holes appear in the back. My double tube stone setting came ot well now I just need to figure out how to set it with out messing out the back any more. The hinge I made came out really well.

Inside of my locket project

The inside of my chased honeycomb locket. Going to be held together on the hinge with two half spheres. 

The start of the next project

I've started to look into my next project for class, which is a locket. This is a mourning locket that I've taken interest in. I like how the hair and the embroidered initials are enclosed as well as a place where a photo or small painted portrait would be. 

Texture in process

The texture that I want to use on my vessel is coming out the way I want it to. Though this is a scaled down version I'm sure it'll look just as good 1' wide. 

Started my sample

My first sample is coming out really nice, im looking forward to cutting out a larger piece of copper to work with.

I'm going to create a copper flask with 3 honey bees and honeycomb texture
